Dare I Say It?…..No More Allergies!
Remember Kinsley saw the GI specialist a couple of weeks ago? He diagnosed her with the benign lymphonodular hyperplasia. Well, he suggested I start trying soy and then dairy in my diet also (I’m exclusively breastfeeding), that her bleeding could simply be from the hyperplasia. He said the hyperplasia is gone by around 6 months of age. Tomorrow Kinsley is 5 months old. I went ahead and tried soy ingredients again after that appt, although I had hardly anything in the house with soy in it since I’m buying so much less processed foods these days. But what little I’vehad has been just fine with Kinsley! So I tried dairy too. At first I saw blood, so I hesitated but continued to eat small amounts (piece of cheese one day, recipe with a cream soup the next, etc.). And now she’s been clear the last three or so BMs, so I believe she’s outgrown her allergy!! I’m a little scared to say that just yet, but it sure seems that way. I’m not a big milk drinker ever but cheese and creamy sauces I love, so I’m happy about getting to eat that again. :) Although in my quest toward health, I’m starting to read that dairy and meats really aren’t that good for you… at the least buying organic (or better yet, raw milk) is much better… but expensive. It takes me forever to research things but for now I’m just going to enjoy it. :) Yay for the yummy (and soooo unhealthy) cheesy pizza, Starbucks ice cream, lasagna, and frapps!!!! Mmmmmm…..
YAY for both Kinsley and you!!! Enjoy your next pizza and that next Starbucks visit . . . hmmm, I think I will head to Starbucks now!
You should! Enjoy your day off!
yippee! :) that’s so great – for both you AND kinsley! :) so NOW… you HAVE to have some palio’s pizza! :) yummo!
